An interesting side point is that I am quite tall and yet KoKo (who is not
quite 19 inches, can extend her stride to suit mine) |
and burning a
trail in the herding arena as she continues with her training

"bring'em along Koko!"
Koko had a great weekend in mid-November '06, at the tender age of barely 7
months she tried for her CKC Herding Instinct Certificate and passed!!!
We’re working hard at herding and hope to have KoKo in
competitions in Summer/07!
While KoKo’s favorite game is chasing the
blue Jolly Ball,

Bud’s favorite pastime is trying to keep Kook’s
away from her ball.

Koko started off her herding training at 4
months of age...chomping at the bit! :-)

Though the original intent was just to see if she had any
interest in sheep

Koko soon proved to us that she not only had lots of interest,
but lots of natural talent as well!

On her own, with very little in the way of commands, she gathered
the sheep up, put them through the panels

got them in the corner and settled them down!
Finally, with a little more help to get them started, she headed
them for the pens at the other end of the arena...
what an amazing little girl!!! We're
just thrilled and we're looking forward to working with
her!
